Fried Apples are the perfect comfort food side dish! Or they can be used as a topping for your favorite breakfast or on ice cream for a sweet dessert!

Fried Apples | MomsTestKitchen.com | Perfect recipe for a simple side dish, a breakfast compliment or a dessert topping!Cracker Barrel is one of my family’s favorite restaurants. My sister absolutely loves it. She once planned the stops for meals for an entire trip from Texas to South Carolina all around Cracker Barrel locations. I don’t think I will ever let her forget that! 😉

These Fried Apples are definitely inspired by Cracker Barrel’s Fried Apples. They are absolutely delicious. I personally love to eat them by themselves as a simple side dish but they also would be absolutely delicious put on top of any of your favorite breakfast items like french toast, pancakes or waffles. If you’re in the mood for dessert, add them to a bowl of vanilla ice cream & you’ve got an amazing sweet treat!

  2. My daughter insisted that we click on this recipe in the Inspiration Monday link-up. These look so good and much less effort than baking an apple! She wanted to make them tonight (at 10 pm, haha no happening kiddo!) I think these will be desert tomorrow though.
