This week we’re feeding the kids in our lives & making some fun kid-friendly food!  Think characters & animals!!  Here in Texas, its just now finally starting to cool off {and by cool off I mean we’ve dropped into the 80s!} but I have dreams in my head of hoodies, flannel pajama pants & fuzzy socks!  I decided to pretend it was cold outside and we made a fun & yummy Waffle Yogurt Snowman!  This made a great, simple breakfast for Princess P!

WAFFLE YOGURT SNOWMAN
YIELD: serves 1

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 Eggo Thick & Fluffy Original Waffles
  • 1 container (6 ounces) vanilla yogurt
  • items to decorate your snowman ~ I used raisins, mandarin oranges, yogurt covered raisins, red & green sugar sprinkles & candy pearls

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Toast your waffles according to package directions, being sure to keep them soft & not too crispy. Use 3 different size cookie cutters to make a large, medium & small circle from the 3 waffles {eat or discard the leftover pieces of waffle}
  2. Cover each waffle circle with a good amount of the vanilla yogurt.
  3. Decorate your snowman however you please!! Mine had raisin eyes, a mandarin orange nose, candy pearl mouth, yogurt covered raisin buttons & then I lightly sprinkled red & green sugar on the bottom & middle circles for some added color. I also added some additional candy pearls to the bottom of the snowman for snowflakes.
