Cinnamon Crisp Chips
So on Monday I shared that delicious Apple Pie Dip. If you noticed in one of the pictures there was a super good looking cinnamon crusted chip sitting there waiting to scoop up some of that dip! Well, these are those chips!
I mean seriously, does something dipped in butter & then coated in cinnamon & sugar need a whole lot of words to tell you how good it is? It’s good. Nothing ever ends badly that starts with melted butter, cinnamon & sugar!
CINNAMON CRISP CHIPS
YIELD: serves 8-10
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar & cinnamon.
- Coat the tortillas in melted butter, making sure to evenly coat both sides. Lay flat on a baking sheet. Sprinkle each tortilla generously with the cinnamon sugar, flip & then sprinkle second side with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until very crispy. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, break into pieces and use as scoops for Apple Pie Dip. Or just eat as a snack!
