For some reason when I tried this activity with Princess P I forgot to bring my brain along with me and I mixed together the bubble solution and her paint.

Which is waterproof.

Hello, genius.  Big mom fail.

So we started over, added some food color to more bubble solution and we were good to go!

SUPPLIES:
bubble solution ~ I used the cheap stuff from the Dollar Tree and it worked just fine
food coloring ~ I used the gels and just mixed it in really well with the bubbles
white construction paper
small bowls
a willing toddler stripped down to a diaper or in clothes you don’t mind possibly getting stained

LETS PLAY:
Pour small amounts of the bubble solution into the bowls.  Add food coloring to each bowl to make different color bubble solution.

Secure the piece of construction paper ~ I would recommend doing this activity outdoors.  I tacked the piece of paper to one of the wood banisters on our patio at a height where it would work well for Princess P to be able to blow her bubble onto the paper.

Blow Bubbles!!!  When the bubbles pop onto the paper they will leave behind the color from the food coloring.  Coolest Thing EVA!!!

Found your site from Follow Me Wednesdays. Love the bubble idea, wish my baby was younger. She is 21 now. Perhaps I can try it when I have a grandbaby!

I would love it if you would come by my blog and link up one of your recipes to Foodie Friends Friday. You have some great ones!

I am now following you and would love it if you would do the same.

I’ve been wanting to do this for so long with my kids. I may have to do it in the basement since it’s starting to get cooler. Thank you for linking up to TPP – hope to see you again this week!
