Wonderful Food Wednesday : Let’s Talk Turkey

Welcome to Week #67 of Wonderful Food Wednesday! We’re so happy to have you here and love seeing what you bring to the party each and every week.

Wonderful Food Wednesday

So how’s December working out for y’all??  It pretty much sucks here so far.  We were iced in all weekend.  Not snow, ice.  We had inches of sleet that covered EVERYTHING.  Schools have been closed since Friday; some finally opened back up today & some are still closed.  Texas doesn’t know how to handle this kind of weather.  It was bad enough that at the point we really needed to get out of the house before going stir-crazy go to the grocery store, that the Hubs drove me to two different stores so I could do some shopping.  But before you go ‘AHHHHH, how sweet, he was worried about you being safe'; don’t be fooled.  We just bought a new car Thanksgiving weekend & he didn’t want me to destroy it.  He was more concerned about the cars safety! 😉

All of the being stuck in the house did get to my head & I did the most logical thing I could think of when it was 25 degrees outside.  I made an Ice Cream Pie!! And I regret nothing.

On more sane notes, #ChristmasWeek started Monday.  I kicked it off with delicious Cranberry Yogurt Cookies.  Plus there is a giveaway going on for a MagiMix Food Processor!

So now lets get the food party started!!

This week we’re talking TURKEY… well, at least we’re featuring turkey recipes. I don’t often think think about the many ways to cook up turkey, and absolutely loved the recipes that we are featuring below. They have definitely been added to my must try list.
